We had a very productive Day On The Hill today, visiting with our Austin area legislators. Our advocacy topics were Gun Safety, Abortion Access & Women’s Health, and Voting Rights. NCJW Austin and hundreds of Texans from across the state convened at the state capitol today to tell state lawmakers to scrap discriminatory legislative proposals that would limit voting and go back to the drawing board. NCJW Austin was in full force at the Don’t Mess With Texans’ Abortions Rally + March at the Texas State Capitol today. With so many challenges in Texas, it’s appalling that the legislature focuses on taking away our health care rights instead of dealing with critical issues.
